Shanghai, China Hosted by: Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Tongji University, GM China Forum Theme: Theme to be announced early 2012 Tentative Forum Itinerary: The Welcome Reception is tentatively planned for the evening of Sunday, July 22nd, followed by four days of displays, presentations, and discussions, with keynote speakers from both academia and industry. Based on your feedback, a fourth day has been added in order to provide needed opportunities for the PACE project teams to prepare for the competition judging. The final competition judging for the 2011-12 PACE Next Generation of Sustainable Urban Transport (SUT) global project is planned for Wednesday, July 25th, with displays and presentations by each of the six global teams. SUT team preparation opportunities are planned for Tuesday, July 24th. Presentations and displays for the 2011-12 PACE Innovative Mobility Solutions (IMS) global project and the 2011-2012 PACE Collaboration Innovation Challenge (CIC) project will also be featured at the Forum. The results of the SUT judging competition will be announced at the Awards Dinner on the evening of July 26th. The conference will conclude with the Cultural Day tours on Friday, July 27th. Pre-Conference Training: Five days of PACE software training will be offered the week prior to the conference, from July 16-20. More details will be made available in early 2012. Cultural Tours: Plan to join us for one of the cultural tours planned for July 27, 2012. Please check back later for cultural tour options. Visas & Letters of Recognition: All visitors traveling to mainland China, whether for business or pleasure, require a visa.
